Location: Allston, MA.  Just kidding.  

​

History: Cambridge Brewing Company, or CBC, has been around the block quite a bit longer than most of its Greater Boston peers.  This Kendall Square brewpub has been an anchor in the craft beer scene since 1989, and made it cool to be in the area before the area got cool.  Chill spot with happy servers and a great burger.

Recommended Brews: Flower Child American IPA is always a solid pick, a better Lagunitas in my humble opinion.  Audacity of Hops is a big, Belgian Double IPA that drinks smoothly, and my favorite offering to date is the Red God Imperial Red. By the way, when I hear the term Imperial Red, I think immediately of this. Described by my server as a great shower beer, I have to agree that the description is apt --- if you plan on taking a long one.
