Name: Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company
Location: Framingham, MA
History: This is a brand-spanking new addition to the MA brewery scene, with some serious brewing history behind it. The head brewer spent years perfecting his craft at Mayflower Brewing company before opening up his own shop, and that’s helped Exhibit ‘A’ to hit the ground running!
Recommended Brews: I’ve had most of their current offerings, and several really stand out. For a great, go-to IPA that features Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic hops, you can’t go wrong with the Cat’s Meow. If you’re tugging that thread, the Demo Tape Seven: Double IPA, loaded with Galaxy hops, hangs with the big boys. It took First Place at the Great International Beer Festival, which is serious business.
If you’re looking for something a touch lighter, the Goody Two Shoes Kolsch is one of the best of that style that I’ve ever had, and the Demo Tape Eight Simcoe Hopped Pale Ale is a really nice alternative to the rush of Session IPAs that are clamoring for shelf space.
While you're in the area: Framingham has made recent beer history for the rise of Jack’s Abby Brewing. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already been there. If not, I highly recommend you plan lunch and a flight there. Nearby Natick has a Jordan’s IMAX, more shops than a human being ever needs access to, and an all-you-can-eat Japanese/Sushi restaurant named Minado.
